I searched for this, to see if it was already up to reblog, and what I found instead were many, many reposts of her quote “I think a lot, but I don’t say much.” Of all the things that Anne clearly *did* have to say, the one we’re sharing the most is the one where she stated that she didn’t often feel able to? Yes, a lot of us need to learn to think before we speak. A lot of us, however, also need to learn to speak up when we think something important.
When I write I can shake off all my cares. My sorrow disappears, my spirits are revived!
